Aluminium Heat Emission Plates are used to facilitate suspended floor heating. Secured to joists, battens or directly under timber floor boards, heat emission plates will maximise the heat transfer area of underfloor heating pipe running its length.

Double Heat Emission Plates are long, thin aluminium sheets fixed between the floor joists, with the floorboards laid directly on top. Two grooves run along the centre line to locate and hold PEX-a underfloor heating pipe, so the pipe sits sandwiched between the plate and the floorboards. The plate conducts heat from the pipe and spreads it across a larger surface area.
